About
I’m a writer who lives in Michigan, U.S.A. I was once the Assistant Editor of MichiganLiberal.com and I used to contribute book reviews to PopMatters.com.
The title of my blog comes from this:
“There is hope in honest error; none in the icy perfections of the mere stylist.”
- Charles Rennie Mackintosh
You can read about my novel CHICAGO TIME here.

Or even follow me on Twitter.

You are a busy person for sure. I love the title of your blog…I think I might make too many of them though!
@Karin, glad you love the title. And thank you for stopping by! Yeah, I make my share of “honest errors” myself.
Richard, if you ever fancy submitting a book review to Books You love, you’re more than welcome! Have a great weekend.
Best wishes
@socialpaws, Thanks for the invitation! I’ll keep it in mind.
Hi, I’ve nominated you for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award and I would be very honoured if you were to accept
. http://manishamishra.wordpress.com/2012/08/21/very-inspiring-blogger-award-part-ii/
Thank you! That is very cool of you, especially coming from such a talented blogger and traveler.
Thank you so much for your kind words! And congratulations for a truly well-deserved award
And I am following your blog because Anarya recommended a visit. And I am a great fan of Charles Rennie Mackintosh: “‘Life’ is the leaves which shape and nourish a plant, but ‘art’ is the flower which embodies its meaning.”
Thank you for stopping by, Clanmother! (Anarya is a pretty fantastic blogger and photographer.) I found out about Mackintosh on a trip to Scotland years ago. My wife and I managed to have tea in the restored Willow Tea Rooms there in Glasgow, and I also was lucky enough to take a tour of the Glasgow School of Art.
You are so lucky – I missed Glasgow on my trip to Scotland. That means I need to return and have tea in the restored Willow Tea Rooms and take a tour of the Glasgow School of Art. Two very good reasons to return to Scotland. Thank you…l.
Your blog is truly inspirational. Keep up the good work.
Thank you!
