Going to Denver

Some of you might (though probably most of you don’t) know this, but I will be at the DNC Convention in Denver as a credentialed blogger for MichiganLiberal.com. I’ll be in the Pepsi Center during the speeches and Invesco Field on the last night for Obama’s acceptance speech. Well, according to the DNC credential people, they will actually let me in…

I’m looking forward to this unique opportunity to watch one of our political parties nominate the first black man for President of the United States. You can read about some fo the details of my trip here.

Review – boring boring boring boring boring boring boring

My review of the book boring boring boring boring boring boring boring is up over at PopMatters.

Anyone who has had even a passing experience with the “Art World” or seen a documentary such as Who the #$&% Is Jackson Pollock? would know that it is ripe for satire. This is not necessarily news, but the material is nearly endless for anyone taking on this subject and its peculiar yet all-too-human vanities.

Though set in the Art World, the novel boring boring boring boring boring boring boring is not the book to do this…
